Hello! blogger Benjy is here, although this blog hasn't been updated in a month or something it has now!
Ive just go through all the May videos which was gret fun =/ lol but I have finally put together the league table results for May!
The way I have done it is to total them all up and divide by the number of ratings. If it wasnt rated it simply comes at the bottom of the pile :( bad times for them.

A New System! [imustbeTINO]

So, if you've been watching thibils closely recently, you'll know that things have gone a bit pots up! There are a variety of reasons; some people haven't been able to get a hold of their cameras, some people's computers have gone crazy, some people have been too ill and some people couldn't even find what we were reviewing. However, despite these issues, we haven't been too good at communicating to each other when we weren't doing a video, let alone you lot as the viewers, and for that we're sorry.This new system should make sure, that unless its impossible for one of us to get a camera or internet connection, there will always be a video up every day.

Firstly, we are all going to take a responsibility, two people to the blog, two people to the twitter, two people to collect recommendations and organize the upcoming months and one person to organize things such as the gathering, events, videos and bigger changes.

Secondly, we're changing the way we review, to give us, as reviewers, more choice, and you, as viewers, more variety across videos. From now on, for each month we will compile a list of 4 movie based recommendations, 4 music based recommendations and 2 - 4 other recommendations. We don't have to review everything on the list, and we don't have to review the same thing each week - We get to choose what we want to review from the list.

Once we have reviewed something from the list, it'll be entered into a score board, and by the end of the month, whatever has been reviewed the most and/or has got the highest rating, will be The Love Hate Society top recommendation for that month. Eventually, we're hoping to involve ratings from people watching, but we need to try this out first before doing that!

Week 10: Why We Failed.... [imustbeTINO]

So basically, if you couldn't tell already, everything in Week 10 has gone WRONG! If it went all to plan, I wouldn't be revealing the secret, but unfortunately, I am. Hatti and Iven's are now swapping days, meaning Iven's from now on will be Tuesday and Hatti on Wednesdays, to celebrate this, Week 10 was meant to be a week when all of us swapped randomly, to confuse all you viewers. Unfortunately, IT FAILED. Sunday was Lex, Monday was Hatti, Tuesday was Tino, Wednesday was the Guest, Thursday was Ian, Friday was Benjy and Saturday was Ivens.

Unfortunately, Ian and Iven's couldn't make their videos in time, and not only that, alot of people couldn't find the movie to review. The main reason for this is usually we have one weeks notice to find it, and help each other out with Links and Rentals and what not. But because of the change in system, i.e: accepting reccommendations from viewers, we didn't have as much notice for this week. Not only that, we were unaware of how hard it was to get a hold of the movie in question. Nonetheless, some of us reviewed it... sort of.. okay, so Lex and Tino did.

I must add here, that unfortunately, we cannot accept certain things to be reviewed. For example, we cannot accept Books, despite the fact some of us would like to review books, it would simply take too long, as all of us have different reading speeds and we'd only get one or two weeks notice to read the book. Also, please do not recommend anything food products with meat in it, we have four vegetarians on the channel, so it would be impossible to give a good unbiased review. Maybe we're not the right people to review this, maybe we're kind of biased, but the general census across the thibilers was that this album has NO SUBSTANCE and is lyrically crap. Bill TV Macon had his say on Saturday, labeling the group a boy band! Funtimes, Funtimes!

Week 05: Final Results [imustbeTINO]

So this week we were reviewing Big Daddy, and an optional review of JacobDyerMedia's youtube channel. After the failings of Week 04, it was revealed that Hatti, Ian, Lex and Benjy would all be punished individually, making the week highly entertaining - but also, hard to understand. Big Daddy got a general response, whilst JacobDyerMedia got good and bad reviews.

Lex thought she was clever by avoiding using the word "the" in her review, so she didn't have to replace it with the word "modern", however at 1:12 in her video, she is heard saying "the" instead of "modern"... meaning she failed her punishement and will be punished again.

And as for Benjy, well now he's got a roll-over of two punishments, oh dear.

So, yeah, Week Four was complete fail, and let me tell you know Iven's is not happy about it. Ian, didn't provide a video, Hatti didn't do a review, Benjy wasn't in his video and Lex cheated by getting Tom Milsom to tell her how to review it. For this, all four of them, are having individual punishments in Week Five. Nonetheless, the people who did watch it, mostly loved it, and thanks to our guest Review Myles Dyer (Blade376) we all looked like amatuer reviewers! Here are the results!

Week 02: Final Ratings [imustbeTINO]

We've come to the end of Week two, and an interesting Week indeed. The reaction to the movie OldBoy was, overall, positive. Everyone agreed that the movie was visually stunning, well edited and had a thrilling and stunning storyline. However, there was a bit of debate over how violent it was; was it too violet, or was it just about right. DoctorBenjy experienced some misunderstandings in plotline, and imustbeTINO was too busy comparing it to Quentin Tarentino movies to really grasp it. HatticusRex just found herself thinking "what the hell?" whilst TyrannosaurasLexxx... well, she didn't watch it and had to shower herself in baked beans. Saturday's review was provided by TheNameIsKai.

Week 01: Final Rating [imustbeTINO]

Week one is over, and we've had mixed reviews about Choke. Overall the response was positive, however particular things appealed to some people which completely turned other people off; Tino thought the soundtrack was perfect and Iven's didn't. Most of us found it hard to follow, and in places the plot line very strange. However, with the acception of Iven's, the humour of the movie mostly went down well, which for Hatti and Lex made up for bad acting - despite Tino feeling certain roles (particularly that of Anjelica Housten) being perfectly portrayed.

Week 01: Choke [imustbeTINO]

So, it starts now!
In 5 minutes or so I will be filming the first vlog for The Love/Hate Society, I'll be laying down the rules of the project, recommending the first movie, reviewing it myself and hoping for the best out of the channel.

Hopefully, the channel will get off to a great start, and this Blog will become a useful side resource for all people following the project. On here, we will collect the Love/Hate rates from the reviews in the videos, post up more in depth reviews (when a vlogger feels necessary) and also provide any extra information about projects, events and things going on in and around THIBILS.

Now I've got the introduction out of the way, I can get to the real business, the review!
Week 01 of The Love/Hate Society is a Movie called Choke, recommended by myself, Tino. This movie comes from a book by Chuck Paluhnuik, the author of Fight Club, and is a personal favourite book of mine. The movie was released November 2008, but wasn't advertist majorly and was almost unknown to most movie-goers, but fans of Paluhnuik's work piled out to see the movie.

Overall I've given the movie a rating of Love 4,
and in this blog, I will collect the ratings of all the other vloggers,
then average them up to give it a final overall Love/Hate Rate.
